Rubiks Studio Cubes?

Why are they so expensive? What's different about them? Are they better than the regular Rubik's cubes?

They're made in Hungary, so that has something to do with the cost.

I think you can adjust the spring tension too. So, they're better than regular cubes that you can buy at a store.

Are Studio Cubes the ones with the picture on an Anvil on the white centre piece?

I think you're talking about the studio cubes that cube4you is selling. I paid the normal price for mine, because I got them through someone else. The guy from cube4you is just trying to make a big profit by selling them for that much. They usually are made more precise, but there's no major difference between the two cubes. I'm not about the spring tension. I know the old ones had screws, but I"m not sure about the new ones.

The anvil on the white center piece is the logo that is on the stickers bought from Cubesmith.
