Rubik's Cube Club

I would say get a lot of solution guides if it is a beginner's club, and get advanced algorithm lists if it is a more advanced club.

Also, have all of your meetings planned out well, so you will never not know what to do.

i started one in my high school last year as a freshman. not a lot of people listened to me cuz i was a freshman.... make sure they know who's in charge.
make solution guides if there are lots of new people that want to learn how to solve the cube. Watch them and teach them what they need to know. last year there weren't a lot of new people so i just did one on one for whoever new showed up. have a plan for the meetings and make sure meetings are regular. last year we kinda slacked off at the end and just played games with the computers.... this year i am planning on teaching the advanced people f2l and maybe 4LLL.
make sure you have cubes for everyone there or make everyone buy their own cube. one time there was a huge group of people that just decided to come and we didn't have enough cubes to teach them so i just made them solve the cross then scramble it again and give it to someone else to solve and walked them through.
make sure no one gets bored and people have fun in the club. have some unofficial competitions to keep them focused and stuff.

i average sub 14 and everyone else in my club gets 60+ sec solves.... remind them that it was hard to be sub minute and stuff and make sure they understand basic cubing terms and basic cube facts like you move the pieces and not the stickers and stuff.

I made a club and I am in 7th grade in what I did was plan and actually know if anyone would do it in the first place. There were like 50 people in the beginning. now there are like 30 because I asked that question. They dont know how to solve it fast except for three exceptions. So I am teaching most of them to solve it ad solve it fast!!!!!

how do you create your club

Hey I am making a Rubik's cube club in my middle school and I was just wondering what should I do to prepare the club.
how did you create your club did you ask the principle or what did you do?can you tell me?:confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused:

It probably varies from school to school. If you're planning on making one at your school, the best place to start is probably with the principal. He would know what you should do to get the club up and running. He can also include a bit about the club in your school's daily announcements in order to get recruits.

Perhaps start with your year coordinator if you have one. Or teachers. One of our teachers set it up for my school
