er i have a question sorry if it sounds noob: if you get a PB in an average of 5 solve, will it be counted officially as a single solve time? e.g. i had the following times for average of 5 :14.55, 19.67, 13.07, 18.44 and 15.32. so that automatically means that my 13.07 time is officially my time for the single solve without doing the 3x3 single solve event? sorry for the confusion caused

There is no 3x3 single solve event. All "PB Single" solves are just got during an average. So that counts as your "PB Single".

Yes, there is no such thing as a 'single solve event'. All best singles are recorded from averages of 5. Btw you're from Malaysia? Do you know about the Malaysian Cube Forum?

It was done as part of an average of 5... If you read the intro of the video it says "Semi-Finals, 5th solve".

sorry i forgot : i read the WCA regulations, they stated 3x3 event is a compulsory so that means if you register, you will automatically be classified as the "average of 5" participant along with the other events you sign up for, isn't it?

P.S.:does anyone know when is the next malaysian open? i'm planning to go and meet some of malaysia's famous cubers like amos, chester and mohd Azraei and some european cuber if they are going

I remember Erik Johnson said in one of his videos that Rowe said he was beginning to learn MGLS. I thought Rowe used MGLS for a long time.
