Was anybody else at the rally to restore sanity and or fear? I went with my girlfriend on a spur of the moment trip, and it was really great! The message was a very positive one about restoring a more sane discourse between people in this country, but the satire and comedy elements of how they conveyed that message were great!

Here are some pictures we took:

Even if you didn't go, was anyone the rally at all? I used to be a Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert fan before going, but this really cemented their message and what they're striving for to me. I'll definitely more closely follow their interviews and their shows after attending.

I also went on a spur at the moment trip. Given how far away I am though, our spur of the moment happened to be at 445 AM when none of the people I went with had gotten any sleep yet. Overall, it was SO much fun. Despite being in a car for like 16 hours total to be in the city for 3-4 hours, it was sooo fun. I have literally never seen more people in one place. Despite getting there pretty late, we somehow managed to get INCREDIBLY lucky on parking and where we stood. We somehow cut through the crowd and got a great standing spot. I was honestly shocked by the amount of elderly people. I expected it to be a much younger crowd, and most of the elderly people had signs in favor of marijuana legalization. I was pretty surprised by that.

Here are some pics I took.

Despite going something like 38 hours without sleeping at all and needing to drive on that, I had SO much fun overall.

Honestly, when I read this last night, I looked at the title and though it was about the recent forum chaos.
I was hoping for/expecting an awesome post ranting about cubing.

But then I realized "oh, wait. That's Chris." :p

As for the actual rally, I did not go, but a friend of mine did, and I was subsequently linked to the following picture:

Obviously, that Vulpix was shopped.

Nonetheless, I like the point it's conveying.

She thought it was rather fun, and from that picture alone, I somewhat wish I had joined in for the lulz.
