Petrus
Step 1: Create a 'block' by matching one edge to the two adjacent corners, and also fixing those two tips.
Step 2: Orient the remaining edges, Petrus-style, so that they can all be solved using only U and R turns.
Step 3: Finish all of the edges using only U and R turns, then fix the last two tips on the U and R corners.

so for step 1, I don't get what a corner is. >.>
Is it another name for a tip or so they mean a center?
My second question is, can this be a sub 6 method?

EDIT:
I've been playing around with it for a while and I think it means centres. If not, I found a good way anyway :p

my new question is:
Is it faster to do this of the method where you do the last slot and LL together. cos I can just do it intuitively.

What kind of Pyraminx do you have that has centers on it? Mine just has a bunch of intersecting black lines where a center would be if there was one. I've got 4 tips attached to 4 corners, and I've got 6 edges.

(PS: it's easy to tell corners and centers apart, corners have 3+ stickers and centers have only one.)

OH, I though of them as centre because their posistion couldn't be changed (gotta catch up on theory XD)
do you think it can be sub 6?
