Quantifying Lookahead

qqtimer has last layer scrambles under 3x3 substeps. For F2L and PLL, I solved the step previous without looking at the cube. For F2L, sometimes I might unintentionally notice another corner or something though I try not to pay any attention to it so sometimes I also do a cube rotation before the next pair.
But because I use stuff like VHLS and know what effect most of my OLLs have on CP, it's not accurate to use random scrambles for them. I did think about using them, but I would have harder OLLs and would get more I didn't know, and for PLL I would get fewer EPLLs than usual, so it would make me appear even slower. Even for F2L I can sometimes see one pair before I start the pair before it (but very rarely).
