Pyraminx Tips Tips

excuse the terrible title, but does anyone have any tips on solving tips faster?
a good percent of my solves are just tips and I can't stand it, and I don't know how to get better
any advice?
PS I got a pyraminx yesterday and am solving sub 15 ish with intuition, no algs.

Don't do them at the start or the end of your solve. Do them subconsciously during the solve during pauses you may have to find other pieces.
Doing them as a separate sub-step will greatly hurt your solves.
