O.K.....
I've searched all over for a tutorial on the pyraminx OKA method, but I've only found a few, and they aren't the best quality.
Can anyone give me a detailed description of how to solve the pyraminx OKA method, or, direct me to a quality video please.
I have made my own method for solving the pyraminx, but it is a slow 5-10 second average. I would like to start learning a more advanced way.
Thanks, Hedgie

Does anyone even have a general overview of the method?
If I could understand a little bit about it, that would help. I could then make up the rest of the method as I go.
Or, if anyone would like to direct me to another pyraminx speedsolving method, that would be great!
I know a couple, but I would like to learn OKA the most.
Thanks, Hedgie

I'll have one coming on the CubingWorld Channel sometime in season 2. I'll do my best to explain it well, because the tutorials that do exist are not too great. It's almost like keyhole, except you set up to an R U R' or similar to finish the first center+edges, if that makes sense. It's hard to explain over text but I'll have a video for it.

Based on the fact that you don't know an advanced method already, you're probably looking for the Keyhole method (which, confusingly, a lot of people call Oka). I learned Keyhole from Erik's tutorial, which explains the method well. I got to a sub-6 average with just keyhole, so it's a good method to learn as well as being easy.

The 'real' Oka method is explained by the video angham posted, and is an extension of the Keyhole method. It's definitely worth learning, and is useful for a lot of scrambles, but isn't necessary by any means.
