Puzzle chat not loading

[RyanReese09]

upon loading the IRC chat on here, the box loads (aka the outline) but none of hte login details to join (where I type in my nickname/captcha)

it just started happening today

any idea what's up?

Internet lag. Happens to me also. It might take a while to load.

[RyanReese09]

I have pretty fast internet IMO, are you sure that's the only possible cause?
edit-i'll go load it up now and let it sit

[Tim Major]

Try some other irc agents. strangepuzzle.com/chat.php wouldn't work for me at our local library, and their internet is far better than mine. Mibbit works there though. Doesn't make sense to me

I use chrome, i tried FF and got this in the chat box. pressed reload on the button it gives, nothing again

strangepuzzle works, I got on chat there, but alas, SS's fails me

Just a note - freenode, which we've "recently" switched to blocks mibbit traffic, and you can therefore not use it.

Try out the following:
webchat.freenode.net/

Simply type
<your nick>
#rubik

and fill in the re-captcha.

Right now, freenode seems to be all messed up, though.

Ryan you're getting a bit addicted to that IRC chat..lol

:/

In case you didn't know, 'freenode' is what all of these clients connect to when talking on #rubik. Specifically, irc.freenode.net

[RyanReese09]

Ah, well I didn't know. Either way, SS's IRC is working now
