Possibly the Fastest Almost Not Really Magic Solve

Yes you are. And the fact that you've been cubing for 2 years and are sub-20 makes you even more of a noob, noob.

I don't think ou should call people "noob" or other things because they simply aren't fast. That's not fair.

What I like the most is when he says "Gaa, I' ve done 200 SOLVES NOW, trying to beat faz!" and thinking that 200 "solves" is something.

I was about to come and defend this guy, saying "Yeah, it was a DNF, but what he was saying is that it might have been a record, or close, had he finished."

Then I saw his post about intentionally not doing the last move. Are you kidding me?

that was 200 solves non-stop since faz posted that coment, and i have been cubing for 2 years but had stoped for one year in the middle as the other thread says with with the stop, return type of thing, besides, sakarie, me and you have been cubing about as long as each other and have around the same average (according to your wca)

when did i say i intentionally didn't do last move, if you watch the slowmo in the vid you will see that i was pulling on the flap.

well if you could do the same with the last flip that would be even better, by what i did i meant with the already holding it.

Why would we want to do that? Picking up the puzzle is part of magic. Why should I use my time filming a magic solve that isn't even complete, just so that you can find out if you are the fastest at a trivial event?

"Noob" doesn't mean someone who is slow. It refers to a certain way of acting/posting. That's why you can be sub20 and still be a noob, or be very much over 20 seconds and clearly not be a noob.

I would like to see someone who's actually good at Magic do a spacebar solve.

Yea, I wasn't saying you're slow... I doubt I'm much faster than you (at 3x3), if at all. I think the word "noob" has evolved to mean more than that, but perhaps I should have chosen a different word.

THIS IS MADNESS!
you can't possibly think that you beat the top magic solvers. like yuxuan wang or Patrick

I never said i did, if you watch the vid i even admit that it was +2, and i know that it was't a normal solve, in-fact, when i watch them solve i am still very impressed (not oh, i can do better)
yes you did. do you still remember the title name before dan changed it?

Honestly, I don't think that starting with the magic in your hands is even considered a Magic solve because half of the challenge is picking the Magic up. A +2 would still be a solve if you solved it properly.

Picking up the puzzle is part of magic.

And you're both wrong. Picking it up is part of the common procedure, yes. That does not mean it's the only way that makes sense. If magics came with a built-in start state and goal state detector and timer, we might be using that. Unfortunately, they don't. But here, in private, making videos, for fun, having a lot of time, we do have the opportunity to measure the actual solving part. There's absolutely nothing wrong or unnatural about it. Quite the contrary, I find considering picking the puzzle up as part of the solution to be rather unnatural.

"OMG someone has a different opinion, quick, we must tell him he's wrong!"

LMAO this thread is full of some of the most hilarious moronicism I've ever seen. Winning post goes to Woner (I <3 YOU WONER) with his magic video. Winning response goes to the plain stupidity of the original poster who didn't get that Woner was mocking him :D:D:D:D:D:D
