Possible competition in Alabama?

[CUB3R01]

I live in Alabama and I have not been able to find any speedcubing competitions in this state. As far as I can tell speedcubing isn't very popular in Alabama, or at least not popular enough to have official competitions. Could anyone see a possible competition in the future? Out of curiosity, are there any other speedcubers on here who also live in Alabama? Thanks for any help!

You'll need people to organise, and a WCA delegate to make it official.

^ Andyroo: Nice, rick'roll, but 6.68 isn't close to Breandan's UWR. >_>
