PLL time attack

Well, I haven't much experience in this, but I just wrote an order down and basically semi-look at the paper, semi don't look at anything while my fingers do all the work. I guess the more you do it, the less you need to read off the paper as you will know what to do, although it is probably a good idea to have the list just in case you forget something. Order doesn't really matter anyway, people seem to do it in any order that suits themselves...

If you do enough PLL time attacks you will have it memorized shortly. When i did it OH I first started with the OH time attack thread open to read the order but now I know it like the back of my hand. G F N E H V R J T Z Y A U is the order i use.

Just break it up into sections - I do G, then diagonally opposite corner algs, then adjacent corners, then corners only, then edges only.

It's really fun to pick a good order that ends up with the cube solved again. Start grouping algs and finding their net permutations, until you have a few groups and just need to combine them. There's a lot of backtracking (or alternatively, giving yourself many options for sub-combination orders), but it's definitely worth the few hours (do it wen you're bored in class or so).
And if you change one of your PLL's to a different AUF, you get to have another puzzle all over again! ;)

I practiced this and fumbled around with my order for 20 minutes and got 58.15 seconds. :D Sub 1 minute. A couple weeks ago I got 1:12.xx, but that was my first time.
