I'm wondering if anyone has any tips to increase my recognition on a couple plls.
The most difficult for me are the cases with no blocks or headlights. Does anyone have tips on how they recognize Gc and Ga from the back quickly? Let's take Gc for example. First, I look for bookends to check if it could be an E, Y, or V perm, then I look for what I like to think of as a "broken bar", basically a 3 sticker checkerboard across the corner. Then I have to compare the color of this "broken bar" with the color of the bookend, if it's opposite, then it's a g perm, if it's not, it's an r perm. If I conclude it's a g perm, then I think okay, the bar for the g perm is on the opposite of the this broken bar, and then I can execute the g perm. This takes me about 3-6 seconds of recognition, which is an insane amount of time.
So basically, recognizing Ga, Gc, R, E, Y and V perms are very difficult for me when looking from the back with no bars or headlights. Any tips would be appreciated!
