I ordered a gan 562 without the UV coating and i cant grip it in the slightest. Feel kinda sad because I payed a pretty penny for it. Any tips to help increase grip? I assume @camcuber, that I cant return as I have lubed and solved?

Just use it a lot. I have a frosted Gan 562 and I just recommend fidgeting with the cube for a bit until you get used to the plastic. It can get more polished when you use it more

i think the GAN 251 M Pro is matte and what i did to make it not super slippery is to grab any sort of paper, then just rub each side of the cube until it feels better.
Wouldn't recommend because he had to clean the dust out afterwards, but one of my high school friends took 5000 grit sandpaper (super duper fine grit) and sanded all the sides. However, sanding makes dust, and like I said, it got in the cube and he had to clean it .

I was referring to normal printer paper/newspaper, not sandpaper.

Just get it from Speedcubeshop in the future and get the PVC coating. It's a bit more expensive, but it's definitely worth it, because I used to accidentally fling my 3x3 across the room when my hands would get sweaty from hyperhidrosis. Now I don't throw, yippee!
