Playing PIANO for beter FINGERTRICKS?

I play guitar, violin, and piano, and I used to play Stepmania a lot. I don't think it helps.

This has been discussed somewhere else before.
It may not really help since the muscles used to speedcube aren't the same used to play the piano/guitar etc.

Edit: Playing Bass or Classic/Flamenco guitar may help with U/U' turns. :/

I can't give a grade level of piano that i am, because I am 100% self-taught. I have played for 2 and a half years. Friends of mine who have taken actual lessons for 8 or 9 years have told me that I am better than them.

Yet I am not a great cuber.

Um, I play when I play piano i lock up more than before. But a few minutes later I become OK again.

Uh, how about other musical instrument? Like band/violin/cello/clarinet etc.

Think for a minute on the movements we use for fingertricks; (At least those that I use.)
U/U' : index finger curling towards us.
D/D': ring finger flicking towards us.
L/L'/R/R': wrist movements
F/F' : no idea :fp
B/B': somewhat like U/U'

I can't think of many instruments using those finger motions.

I've been playing piano since the age of 8, but for some reason I can't solve it at all, whatever I do the black and white keys are still scrambled. Maybe I should consider peeling off the stickers.
