I'm new here, so I'm not sure if I should be posting this or not. I saw a lot of the advice threads on how to break barriers for 3x3 but I wanted more direct advice here.

I've been sub 20 for a while but unable to progress farther. (CFOP) I average 12 seconds Cross F2l and 6 seconds last layer. How can I improve further my F2L? Slow solves? How should I improve my last layer? I currently use 2 look PLL and OLL, with most PLLs and a little bit OLL+COLL. Is 2 look sufficient and I just need to improve recognition and execution? Thanks.

Okay, on learning full OLL, I've also considered switching to ZZ, and average about 25 on that. (and apparently now this doesn't belong in the One Answer forum?)

ZZ is nice, and a really popular subset is ZZ-CT, popularly dubbed the 'LL skip method'. There is a beginner friendly version recently published by forums user Philip Espinoza that might help you transition to full ZZ-CT if you like the looks of it.
