opticubes megaminx clone

They aren't so bad... Possible to have avg sub 2 min (like Stefan Łapicki after one month)

Definitely the cube4you megminx is not as good as the Mefferts megaminx.
But if you are a beginner and want to have a minx just for the fun of it, 5$ is a very small cost to pay.
After lubing they become "decent".

I have one, and I sanded off all of the little bumps on all of the corners (took nearly 90 minutes!) and it's ok now. It still clicks into place a little bit, kinda like a pyraminx, that's a little helpful.

I haven't used a meffert's though...

When you sand the cube4you megaminx, do you take it apart to sand it, or somehow sand it while assembled?

If the $5 megaminx is as cheap as people say it is, I'm a little concerned about how well it will stand up to being taken apart and reassembled.

I have one coming soon, so I want to know. :)

It isn't hard to assemble and disassemble. An edge can just pop out like a 3x3x3's edge. Except, 2 corners pop out with it.

Putting it back together is a little difficult. You kinda have to semi-put in the last 2 corners and edge as 1 unit and push them all in at once. It helps to have the top slightly turned, like on a regular cube.
