Hi there !

I'm crossing the 20s barrier with 2H so I started to do OH a few days ago.
My best time is 55s for the moment after something like 50 solves with one hand.

I use 2 look OLL and PLL for OH cubing. I will learn the 21 OH PLL but I think I will stay 2 look OLL (don't want to learn 57 algo again ^^).

I would like to know how much time did YOU take to reach the 30s barrier in OH cubing ? And how mich training did you put in it ?

Thanks !

So you use full OLL and PLL for 2 hands?
You should work on executing those one-handed.

Yes I use the 78 algs for 2 hands. But for optimal OH you have to learn new algs which are more RU based than the 2H algs. I know U, Z, H, A (only one), Y, E and T for OH.

Of course some 2H algs (OLL and PLL) are already "OH friendly". for exemple all the OLLs based on the "sexy move" (RUR'U') with some F and/or F' are easy to do one handed.

Not the best person to say this, but I think this is a bad idea.

Anyway, sub 30 in like 3-4 weeks for me. I put as much work as I could into it (turning speed was low and endurance was almost non existent).

I've been sub 30 for I don't know how long, and I never actually learned ''OH friendly'' algs, just use the ones you have and simply adapt them to a One-handed maneuver. I can do G-perms decently fast and god knows how crappy those are. But incase you don't have it, here's a 2-gen for Hperm (Thx micheal :P)

U2 R2 U2 R' U2 R2 U2 R2 U2 R' U2 R2 U2

<..> But incase you don't have it, here's a 2-gen for Hperm (Thx micheal :P)

U2 R2 U2 R' U2 R2 U2 R2 U2 R' U2 R2 U2

R' R U' U R' R R2 U2 R' U2 R2 U2 R2 U2 R' U2 R2 R' R U' U R' R flows much nicer.

On a more serious note, I find R to be easier than R' in OH, so I'd do it R2 U2 R U2 R2 U2 R2 U2 R U2 R2

Already the one I use.

The T can be done like with 2 hands but I found this alg which is faster to execute ! :
(R2 U) (R2 U') (R2 U') D (R2 U') (R2 U) R2 D'

My left fingers tires slower than 3 days ago so I'm happy ^^.
