NR anyone...? and how to motivate people

Seeing as I'm the only active cuber from Luxembourg that has participated in a
competition, I get a lot of people asking me: "Doesn't it feel weird getting NRs at an event just by by participating?" and I can honestly say that it kind of blows :( I wish more people from my country would sign up for competitions, but they are either too ashamed of their times or don't care.

Now how would I get those people motivated :p? Any ideas are appreciated.

Also: Are there other speedcubers that are the only ones in their country to compete? Post here :)

.....Ron has some contacts.... the idea is to startup a competition in Luxembourg.....

I have had all NRs in Denmark.
We will see this weekend if Im still the best of us, I am getting some competition now but the last 3 years has been kind of a lone walk to get all national records. I think the only one I am missing it 5x5BLD.
One I dont have right now is FMC but i doubt I will ever get down to 33 moves.

But people are out there and will come to competitions themselves at some point. I got in contact with a few like 4 and then I help Danish Open last year And now I know of almost 60 in Denmark who can do the cube in under 5 min.

So they are out there.

Omfg :D I wouln't mind of NR at all... actually I would like to compete IRC cubing. Not WCA yet (also the closest is finland and this IS far to me :D ) but I would like to compete with some regular cubers. A problem is that Est isn't really very "cubing" country. We have great cubers, but they aren't competeing. MAYBE (VERY mabye) I'll go to finland's WCA tournament (or whatever it is :D) when I get average sub-20 on if very good then sub-15.

It took me forever to write this... My finger is ... umm... broken? or how to say but I can't cube very well right now:mad: Hope it wil get better soon...
