"No Fingertrick" solving

You guys should watch Jessica Fridrich's old videos, her "palmtricks" are insane and she gets 13 seconds

You're right.

I remember that the first time I watched that, it seemed fast, but not all that odd, because I wasn't used to seeing normal fingertricks. Now it looks so bizarre, but very cool!

Fridrich is noob. Disciple is awesome.

Neo63: Where'd you get 13 seconds for Fridrich? She claims a 17 avg, right?

blah: Haha, Dan Knights. But that's a really nice solve (PLL skip?) and he's surprisingly fast considering the technique. I wonder if I'd be able to learn normal fingertricks if I had been schooled in that way...?

Haha, this is exactly how I solved when I first learned. I used it for about a month until I saw Erik's 7.08 vid and saw he was using fingers, so I learned.

Hah, that's how I've always been solving the cube :D It's a storebought one on which I cannot perform fingertricks cause it can't cut corners and the face does not fully turn upon performing a fingertrick. :( The only cube I use fingertricks on is my 2x2x2 which rocks. :D
