Take this 'alg' : R' ( X X X X ) R

To make another alg from that do this : R2' D' R ( X X X X ) R' D R2

That will change the corner sitting in URF after the first part to a diffrent one. If this corner changes to another one during the rest of the alg it will change once more in the end so... it inserts a 3-cycle commutator in only 4 extra turns (4 H, 6 Q).

A-PLL for example but you can also twist two corners (pure) in few moves (example: R2' D' R U L U' R' D R2 U L' U')

D may be any of 5 sides but in this case it is the face sitting under both F and R...

Not on topic, mabye it should go to theory but my thread and it is Megaminx...

That is what I namned 'the Devils case', it is a compleate anti version of the solved case (PLL) and it has the same probability (edges like this 1:12, corners like this 1:12, 5 alignments = 12*12*5 = 1:720)

I need 30 turns to solve it :(

Not a big deal, you won't see it often but for the fun of it, who can find a shorter alg?

The image is mabye not much help but; top corner and bottom edge are solved, the rest are swaped ni 4 2-cycles horizontaly from left to right.

yes, yes, that thing is full of pentagrams :p

But... Solved ('Gods case') you can always AUF, this, you can never AUF (to understand that setup and do AUF + y orient), This is why this case is evil, same goes if yo look at edges or corners only.

Edit: R U R U R2' U' R2 U2 R2 U' R' U' R2 U R U R2' U2' R' U' R' (21, 28)

Found using Larie's 2-g solver for Megaminx, it is optimal using only two sides, the longest optimal I ever seen =)
