What I think will happen: Qiyi comes out with a new valk cube, that has the same shape of the Valk Elite, but with split pieces and doesent have that dot anti sticky system. Its more simple, and it will be cheaper. 33-37$ For the interchangeable magnets, Qiyi will use the XS/EDM system.

What I want to happen: Valk E Power, or Valk Power E. Like the Valk power was a variation of the Valk3, this cube will be a variation of the Valk Elite. It will have heavier turning, be more of a buttery smooth rather than a crispy feel. The piece design is like a mix of the Valk Power and Elite. It will have thicker corner feet, a simpler track system, and it will retain the dot anti stick system, or maybe even a new anti stick design. It will also have slight corner roundings like the GTS3. be maybe 78-82 Grams, so it will be heavier, it will encorporate the Valk Elite's magnet cap system, but with one more strength, between medium and null. And it will be slightly more expensive, 50$. Thoughts on this cube?

Sadly it looks like their XMan cubes are taking over.
The fact they brought out a flare 2x2 I think shows that. I may be wrong though but it looks like signs of Valk disappearing.

I thought Xman and valk line serve different purposes. The valk cubes have to be approved by Mats Valk, and so tend to be more stable and heavy, while Xman seems to be more cutting edge and innovation designs. Those are just my guesses tho

True but the fact that they are now crossing over into small NxN just seems a little odd.

Well, I can’t see Qiyi just discontinuing the valk cubes. They have been a standard in cubes for many years, and I don’t think we have seen the last of them. It took a few years to go from the valk power to the valk elite, so maybe we will just have to wait. Unlike Gan, Qiyi actually innovates every time they release a cube, so it takes a while. Moyu hasn’t released a new cube other Than the WRM 2020 in a long time, but no one says they are switching to just producing Mofang Jioshi cubes.

Haha. Was going to say "I'll take it to the Cubing Argument Thread" but that place is already messed up.
I personally only see the Valk Elite as "innovative" from the whole Valk line. The rest of the cubes are very good but not exactly "innovative".
With GAN, their flagships have always brought in something innovative since I've been cubing at least (I think there's plenty of examples so I won't go into that).

A lot of us hope for companies/sub-brands like Valk and Guoguan to name a couple to be way more productive than they are just so we can get some more fresh perspective on cubing hardware, but I guess it is what it is.

Hasn't Mats Valk quit cubing? That's what I've heard. If it is only referring to "Competitive Cubing" we probably will see more Valk cubes in future but if it is complete cubing then we might not see another Valk cube, just as the Hays line that was supposed to kick off a couple of years ago.
