Newspaper Reporter Looking for Subjects from the Central Illinois area

[Dantam8]

I'm a freelance reporter working for the State Journal-Register in Springfield, IL. I'm looking for members of this forum from the Central Illinois area who would be interested in being interviewed for a story I'm writing on how people use the Internet to interact with others who share the same hobby.

If you fit the bill, please respond to this post so that we can make arrangements to conduct a phone or email interview.

Thanks,
Dan Naumovich

Why do you only accept regional people and conduct interviews by phone when you are interested in people that interact with others over the internet?

Local Newspaper

It's for a newspaper and they like to emphasis local content and spotlight people in the community.

I do remember seeing some people from this site from Chicago/Illinois.

You may want to put your general location in the title, I know if I saw Baltimore in the title instead of something about newsreporters, I would click it much faster.

There was a newsreporter at the US Open 2007 in Chicago. Her name is Lori Martin. She is not a cuber herself but she knows quite a lot about the community as well. I don't know about cubers in that area though

[Bryan]

I know cubers in that area (from the MN and WI Opens), but not sure who is really active in the forum. slncuber maybe?
