Still not as good as the regular M-U 2 gen z alg... M is diffucult, much harder than M'.

Much nicer of an alg, IMO.

That U' messes up the flow.

I don't like the M and U, but it also works with M' and U'

I am 6 months into cubing, but only recently found out about Roux, using which i made 'my own' Z perm (swapping UF, UR edges and UL, UB edges), as i had difficulty memorising the usual Z perm. The algo i used was:
M2 U M2 U M' U2 M2 U2 M' U2

But now that i know there is a better algo on speedsolving wiki (M2 U` M` U2 M2 U2 M` U M2), i plan on using that. But yes, i can empathize with the original poster's feeling of 'inventing' a new algo , because i still think mine's easier to remember

For OH the z-perm what is best is: R2 U R2 U R2 U R2 U R2 U and then which you like the best.. you can R2 y M' U2 M U or other possibility is to y L' R U2 L R' U

Quite long but fast at OH.. figured out myself accidentally.
