Hi I have discovered a new method similar to MGLS. Here are the step:

1. Get three pieces of the cross.
2. get any 3 F2L slots filled (correctly).
3. Use F2LL (http://pagesperso-orange.fr/absolutemind/f2ll-angl.htm) to orient the corners
4. Use a combination of M-slice moves and U face moves to put the last edge in and orient the edges.
5. PLL to finish.

Please tell me what you think of this idea for a method.

It makes more sense to just consider doing CLS before ELS than considering it a weird WV thing. I've been told people have found algs for this. ;)
It wouldn't be a new type of MGLS, but rather a new variant of Fridrich, complement of MGLS for net LS+OLL.

Thing is, you would have a lot of MUR algs for ELS, but they'd require some R and r turns.
Straight 2-gen is more consistent, and better for OH. :p

Okay due to the recent solves I have been getting (sub 20 and even a sub 15) I am going to continue with this method and maybe ask for asssistance if I need it. Please post or PM me saying if you can help me develop this method more.

To answer some of the questions:
@lotsofsloths: You can change the alg so L= R' and R=L', I believe.
@lucas: I called it a "new type of MGLS" because you orient the U layer twice when inserting a piece into the F2L.

This is an interesting idea, but for step #3, what if it is a separated pair? What not just get all 4 cross pieces? Also, what are your times for regular CFOP?

I like the idea but the problem is for the F2LL What if the CE pair is pointing the other way?
Just do the mirror alg. :P

@Lt-UnReal: If I understand what you mean by a seperated pair(like R U R' right?)Then you would pair the CE pair up and move it to the side then do F2LL. To answer your second question I average around 17-16 seconds with CFOP, but my best average is 15.52.

I tried to see how many moves this method takes, and i found thatit is sub 60 with intuitive algorithms for step 4.

I have finished developing my method and created a name for step 4 F2ELL. There are 70 algorithms for the F2LL(56) and F2ELL(14). I need to find a way to upload the page onto jtjogobonito.110mb.com check it within a week(maybe) to find the algorithms.
