Hi Everyone

i'm new to this forum. i can do the 2x2 and 3x3 and nearly the 4x4. i get to the stage where i just need to do the edges and corners for the yellow side. however, the edges on mine always seem to end up adjascent to each other and never oposite. ive found the alg in the forums here to get this sorted but cant figure out what the alg mean. i am well versed with the alg used by memyselfandpi on you tube. if someone can tell me what the alg on the forum mean i'll be very gratefull.

I think you mean it's solved except for two edges that are switched? Just do the opposite algorithm and u perm (3 cycle)

you'll have to spell it out for me and what do you mean by u perm 3 cycle???

he means:

To cycle clockwise: R2 U R U R' U' R' U' R' U R'

To cycle counter-clockwise: R U' R U R U R U' R' U' R2

They're basically inverses of each other; in other words, the other algorithm backwards.
