As the title says, I recently (Oct. 14, 2015) bought the New Rubik's brand Cube from Target(a retail store in the US).
And today, I decided to disassemble the puzzle completely and found there were normal screws!

In order to get the center caps off, you should first take off all the edge/corners pieces.
Then, you can use a screwdriver to push the tiny stub thats behind the center pieces. (you can also use a pen cap)
NOTE: You should push downward to pop the caps out. Don't push the stub inwards, or else the stub might break (like my yellow cap :( )

You should also open the core and take out the rectangular thingy in the center.
You can just pull it out with some pliers. (It's small so it's a bit difficult with just your fingers.)
The first picture below shows you can loosen the screw (left side) and how tight it is originally (right side)

The first time I saw these cubes on Youtube, there was a WHITE ball core but mine has a BLACK ball core.
In MeMyselfAndPi's video, he took off the center caps and there wasn't an adjustable screw.(There was a white plastic thing?)
In RedKB's video, he opened the core and the core had pyramids while mine has the pyramids cut off/flattened.
So I'm guessing Rubik's company remade the puzzle after the reviews? Or the ones that they reviewed were just prototypes?

Also, something I noticed that nobody says anything about. The new Rubik's Cube center pieces have indents on the one of the sides. Does anybody know what they're there for? Is it just something that's there because of the manufacturing process or is it there to be able to assemble easier? Because I have no idea why they are there but nobody mentions it in their videos!
