Hi guys!

I've recently developed an online timer for the Rubik's Cube (another one you might say!). While there's a couple of very nice timers for your desktop, I thought the web timers weren't very good. It's still in Beta stage so there's a couple features missing but the main thing is working great...Have a look!

rubiktime.com

Works with IE 7.0 And Firefox, 1024*768 + is prefered. (Not IE6 friendly)

Please leave your impressions :)

Looks cool.

I don't like that timing starts immediately after inspection time has ended, mostly because it feels so different from Stackmat. Or if you want to have it that way, please provide a 0 second inspection.

Thanks for your comment!

The two features you mentioned are in the planning! The scramble generator shouldn't be too much of a problem but the user account thing will take a bit longer.

Also:
-The "Global" statistics are not filled, just the session statistics works for now
-Popup to confirm if you want to keep the time so it doesn't get into your session statistics if you don't want to
-If you change the cube type, it will change the time list as well, but your times will be entered in the same statistics list. Wich doesn't make much sense if you speedcube with 3x3x3 and then 5x5x5! But that will change soon :)
-I'd also like it to be able to generate a Graph/Excel or something like that.
-I'm always open to feedback for new features ;)

Good comment Johannes91, I'll add a 0 inspection time option.
When you say it doesn't feel like stackmat, how do they work regarding inspection time? (Never used one!)

What I meant to say is just that inspection time and solving time are usually timed separately, so there's no need to start solving immediately after inspecting.

It's pretty good, but the default should be set at 15 for inspection time, instead of 10. Also, an estimated mode, or the a rough calculation of what time is most frequently attained would be good, though maybe not necessarily helpful to most people.

Lotsofsloths, Thanks for the positive feedback! ;)

Dyste, thanks also for the positive feedback and even if maybe not necessarily helpful to most people, I'm making note of it!

yes sure, I'll definitely add a POP/DNF option...
I'm fairly new to speedsolving so I like receiving comments from you guys!

Seems like I'm gonna have to build a couple of new features this weekend ;)

Yes, please make sure there's a DNF option that allows multiple DNFs (unlike the typical POP option that only allows a single POP). That would be quite useful for BLD solving, since I like to keep track of my percentage of successful solves.

Very nice! I like the graphics and feel of the site. I think I'll start using this timer instead of the old site I was using.

I'm happy you guys like it! ;)
If you have any comments/suggestions/things you find annoying, feel free!
