Hi everyone my name is Stephen, i just joined the forum as you could obviously tell. I will start with a background on my cubing i guess. I started cubing about 3 or 4 months ago. I started off with Dan Brown's(pogobat) tutorial on YouTube. Soon after that i switched to the fridrich method, i used that until i averaged about 30 seconds. Only about a week or two ago i made another switch to my current method the ZZ method i used Phil Yu's phenomenal tutorial(link at bottom). With the ZZ method i currently average about 33 seconds with ZZ and i truly believe this method has a lot of potential especially with all the ZZ variants that have yet to be explored. If you are wondering why i switched it's because i felt like i wanted to be different, so when i go to competitions i can say im the only one using ZZ in here unless of course someone else is using ZZ. Yeah so that's just a gist about my cubing "career" i guess you could call it. It would also be awesome if you could check out my YouTube channel SAICubed just like my username on this. I put a lot of work on my videos so i think you will enjoy them, well at least i hope you will enjoy them.

Amazing ZZ tutorial= http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q9f-uHyHeQs

P.S. If you have any questions pertaining to ZZ feel free to ask i don't know too much but if your a beginner i think i could help so ask all you want and i will do my best to answer. Thanks!

Welcome to the forum! I hope that you improve lots and hopefully convert many people to zz! after all, that's the most important thing to do as a zz user. ;)

Welcome! I also want to learn ZZ but got no time. It looks like it has a lot of potential. Will try to learn ZZ probably around Christmas Vacation lols

Hello, welcome to the forum and have fun with ZZ!
What relatively unexplored variation of zz are you thinking about learning?
I waste a lot of my time on ll methods and may be able to help.

if you're that interested in it, i'm hoping to see your developments in it since ZZ-d is pretty unexplored since noone has been able to find a decent way to detect corner permutations while solving first block, do that and we're golden. if you're really that interested in it, also check out ZZ-rainbow, it's somewhere in the ZZ/ZB thread. everyone will legitimately hug you if you missing link zz-d brobro
