Hi!
My name is Anton and I’ve been cubing for about 3 weeks or so.

The golf season was about to end here in Sweden so I needed something new to occupy my mind. I accidentally found a cube laying around and I tried to solve it.

First I learned a beginners method. And that lead me to CFOP.
Played around with 4LLL for 2 weeks until I stumbled upon Roux.

I still haven’t decided what method to continue with, but I think Roux is more fun atm.

Anyway, that’s me.
Have a nice day!

Thank you!

I don’t know the name of my current cube, I don’t think it’s anything special. But I recently ordered a Gan 356 Air SM. Hopefully it will arrive this week.

I don’t mind learning the algs, however, just spamming them gets old rather quick imo. That’s why I think blockbuilding might suit me better. On the other hand, Cross and F2L in CFOP is kind of fun as well.
I’m so new to this, so I have still to figure out what suits me.
I think I average about 1 minute with CFOP and around 50 seconds with Roux.

Those are very good times for only being a cuber for 3 weeks! I've been at it since August myself and I consider 40s still good times for me. I often get 30s and I just broke my PB with 28,86. Like just now, 2 minutes ago. With Roux. :D

Congrats to your PB! :)

Well, I’m not that concerned with times yet. I try to solve the blocks slow and look ahead. Also trying to learn som finger tricks, especially for U2 and M’ etc.

That’s another cool thing I like about Roux. Instead of learning lots of LL-algs, I can focus on finger tricks and look ahead.

Luckily there’s a lot of useful information on this forum, which is very helpful.

Welcome to the forums. I'm newbie here, too. (since yesterday)
I personally use CFOP and have tried to practice ROUX, but it was terribly hard for me to execute because I am not good at M rotations.

Solving the cube with Roux has a fantastic appearance.

Yeah, Kian Mansour’s videos are amazing. I’m currently learning roux by watching his videos. His Roux tutorials are great as well as his ‘Tips and tricks’-videos.
