Hey guys, I'm pretty new to cubing. About a month ago I got a pack of cheap cubes off the internet, 2x2 up to 5x5, and since I've learned the 2x2, 3x3, and 4x4 (I'm still a bit lost on the 5x5). I also got the pyraminx and megaminx (I cant solve the mega, but I can do the pyraminx).
I'm considering learning a new 3x3 method cos I went with CFOP and it seems that CFOP is not widely considered the best speedcubing method. I got my first under 1 minute time the other day (58 seconds current PB), down from 2:30 when I started cubing. My 2x2 PB is 16 seconds, and my pyraminx PB is 22 seconds. I keep a cube on me at all times now cos it's pretty funny to whip one out and watch others try and trip me up by mixing it up, a friend brought 2 cubes into school that he couldn't solve and yeah, he went home with two solved cubes.
It's just a fun lil hobby (currently distracting me from studying lol).

Welcome to the forums! :)

CFOP is generally regarded as one of the best methods along with Roux and ZZ though it is always worth checking out some other methods. Off the top of my head I would recommend CFOP, ZZ, Roux, PCMS and SSC.

Hope you enjoy your time here! :)

Wow! You improved quickly! You must really be addicted :p. CFOP is considered a very good method and most people use it.
Anyway, welcome to the forums and hope you have fun here!!!
