New(?) edge cycle algs

i was watching the sexy move guys tutorial and he used the (RURUR)(U'R'U'R'U') and (R'U'R'U'R')URURU) to put the edges in to the place and i noticed that it just cycled three pieces.

i never actually watched his entire video so he could have used these algorithms.

Clockwise
U2 R' U (R' U' R' U' R') (U R U R2 U2)
Counter Clockwise
R U' (R U R U R)(U' R' U') R2

yeah he could have used those ones, but they are longer, and the other ones are easier to remember.

I use U2 R U R U R' U' R' U' R' and it's mirror

I already use that Counter clockwise edge cycle. It's pretty common. As for the Clockwise cycle, I'm sure people use it, I just never learned it myself.

I like the question mark. Even if they have the audacity to post in the wrong forum without spending any time checking that their idea is new, they at least concede that they're not sure, so I know to treat it like that.

safety net question marks? the only reason there is a question mark is because i was unsure. I didnt take the time to search no, but i didnt go Z0MG 1 H4Z A N3W SUPER AWSOME ALGORITHM DUDEZ...

and you the best part about people getting mad about others finding new stuff, and then saying they are not new. Is that most of the time you are completly wrong and it is new. Maybe not for you but for them.

Well, if you're posting it on the forums, other people are going to be reading it. If you're posting something that everyone already uses you can't expect people to not point that out. The algorithm might be new to you, but unless you've been cubing for years and years almost everything will be, and it's kinda silly to make a new topic just to say you have learned a new alg. I mean, just take a look at the OLL and PLL lists on the wiki, and you'll see well over a hundred algs you've never tried before.
