Hello all!

I am new to the cubing world, I have had a Rubiks for about a year now, and used generators to solve it for fun.

Recently, I have been working on the beginners method to solve a cube.

On a 3 hour trip to another state, I solved it using Badmesphisto's video guide.

I kept solving it with instructions I wrote for the whole day.

That was around December 1st.

I have been doing the beginners method ever since, and dropped a PB of 1:10__..

Lately I traded a yoyo for a Sheng Shou wind, and am slowly making my way into the world of speedcubing. I have all the 2 look LL algs written down, and am trying f2l (hard<)..


So yep!

I love to yoyo, I am on another yoyo forum and have been there a while.

I hope to be here a while and learn a thing or two I can pass on to!


I also hope to pick up a 2x2 eventually, always wanted one!

If you get a 2x2 you can either apply 2-look OLL and PLL to it or you can learn it from the 2x2.

Get whatever cube you want, but recommendation is Shengshou Aurora, or Zhanchi for 3x3. This is because, believe it or not, Moyu Weilong might be TOO fast for you, and might cause you to overshoot on turning. When you get better and faster, i highly recommend a fangshi, or a weilong.

For 2x2, take a look at 1 of these 4 (or more than 1)
Dayan Zhanchi 2x2- Smooth and fast
WitEden 2x2- Scratchy and fast
Moyu Lingpo 2x2- Combo of Wit and Zhanchi
Fangshi ShiShuang 2x2- Light and Effortless

For 3x3 as a beginner, I recommend a guhong v2. You can make it fast, slow, smooth, crunchy... whatever. Also, you are good at yoyo.
