Hello everyone and greetings from Lithuania(if anyone knows where is it :D ) I started solving cube 2 month ago and now my average is 52seconds. I already learned F2L a bit, 2look OLL and PLL's , but my cube is not very good :P Also I got rubik's brand 4x4x4. So I'm staying at this forum to learn something new and hope for other members support. :)

Welcome! You should look at the other forums for information on which 3x3x3 cubes are the best. Also, you should join the race to sub-30 as a way to get faster. It really helps you improve your times.

For a 3x3, I suggest either an A-V or F-II to start and then switching to the Guhong, it is very fast and is difficult for me to control (I average around :32.) Assuming your learning Fridrich, you're doing good, I would start working on full PLL as soon as possible and then move on to full OLL as soon as you're perfectly comfortable with full PLL. For the 4x4, the Rubik's brand sucks, I suggest getting a Dayan + mf8. For future reference, stay away from the Rubik's brand, they produce low quality cubes (except maybe for their 3x3 DIY.) Good luck!

I have broken my rubiks 3x3 in 3 weeks :D it realy sucks. It cost alot and doesn't cut corners at all much. Im training PLL's but my cube locks up alot and cuts veery low angle cornners. By the way, thanks :P

You're going to fit right in.
Welcome.

Hello and welcome to the forum :)

Yes, I definitely recommend getting a new cube. Possibly starting off with a Ghosthand II and working your way up to the Lingyun or Guhong as these cubes seem to be very popular right now. The F-II and A-V are also very good cubes. anyway, welcome and I hope you get something positive out of this forum.

Welcome!

I disagree with some comments posted before.. you should get the GuHong right away and start getting used to it. For nearly 2 months I found the GH too smooth and fast and sticked to my AV's, but after forcing myself into learning to control it, the Alphas are collecting dust on a shelf along with all my other speedcubes. It is that good.

You won't regret getting a GuHong.. all the praise you read is real.

I disagree. If you get a Guhong averaging 52 sec. it will take a long time to get use to it like you said, but when "mnts" does get his/her average down to a faster time the Guhong won't help the cuber as much as the guy who gets and F-II or something, gets sub. 20 then gets a Guhong. If you get a great cube after using a not so great cube then it will naturally be more beneficial to the cuber than if he/her got the best cube, got their times sub. 20 and were stuck with the best cube out their already.
