New cuber here and I just bought two cubes from lightake.

if they're like the picture, they look real
you'll find out when they get there, but doesn't seem like a fake, just looks like an order for a white and stickerless zhanchi

It looks fine to me. I wouldn't worry too much about the authenticity of the product. If you are just starting, you will probably buy quite a few replacement cubes by the time you are sub-20/sub-15. Most people get sub-30 with Rubik's brand so these will be great for you - counterfeit or not!

Thanks a lot for the replies. Yeah I've really worn out my rubiks brand cube as it barely holds together now. I would force it to corner cut even if it did not want to. This was not a good idea long term as it is all flimsy now.

As for authenticity, it is kind of a big deal as I can afford to buy brand and choose to do so. Lightake was just the most convenient site to order from for me as I could just check out by paypal. And it was harder to find Zanche's in shops than I thought it would be. Could just be me not really knowing my way in "cube-land" tho

Hello there. I would suggest trying a few other cubes also, there is are a lot of good cubes around and you really need to find one to suit your style.

I'm open to suggestions, but as far as I've gathered the ones I ordered are the ones most people prefer? I could be way off tho, so any input is welcome :)

You can't go wrong with any of the Dayan range. Personal favourites are LingYun vIII or guhong v1. Everyone will tell you different, but the only way to know is to try them yourself.

Also try the other sizes. My favorite is the 55mm rather than the usual stock 57mm. It sounds like no big deal but if your fingers are a little shorter it makes a difference.
