While at my dad's house over the week, I wanted to show him Felik's 6.65 World Record solve. I've been away from this forum for about a week, so I haven't seen any news on the matter.
When watching it on YouTube, I noticed that Faz changed the title to "Former WR," and I had no idea he had been beat. So, I went to WCA to check, and it says the single WR is 1.08 by Emile Compion.
I'd say that this was just a typo in WCA, but Faz has "former" written on his video. And I can't find any videos of the 1.08 solve.
So, what's going on here?
Does Emile Compion really have a 1.08 WR? Did Feliks really get his record broken?
Sorry if this is a stupid question, that has been asked over and over. I searched, but I apparently suck at searching, cause I didn't find anything.
