Heeeeello everyone.
Sorry about that stupid long hello, I just couldn't help it and I'm way to lazy to redo it into a more serious looking one.
So, I think I spotted the reason why I am so darn slow, and that is F2L.
My problem is, I have a corner. (I always do the cross on the white side).
Say that corner is the white, red, blue corner, and I have the blue, red edge.
What I do is I do 29389129839102938 cube rotations until I find the holy edge that pairs up with whatever corner section I'm trying to solve.
Now, do not misunderstand me, my problem IS NOT that I can't insert pairs from different angles, it's just I don't find the edge.
I recorded a video just to show you guys, what my problem is.
By the way I'm sorry about the top view camera, I thought it'd make everything clear but it just made it more difficult to see.

So, what do you guys recommend me to do? Any tutorial, anything at all that you may thing it might help?
Thanks so so much!
Diego

I can't see what you're doing from that angle, but:

Try to use deduction. If the piece you're looking for isn't anywhere visible in front, then it must be in the back. If you're always mindful of which slots are already filled, you can quickly narrow it down, with some practice. I suspect when you instead roll the cube all over the place, you lose track of where everything is.

Just don't rotate the cube at all. Or tilt. Just use U and R turns (only if you have to) to see the pieces you don't know. Obviously if a piece has yellow (I assume from your post that you use white cross) you don't need to check if it pairs.

Well, thanks a lot!
I will try and with time, just get used to this.
I tried doing everything you said in one solve and just F2L took me 53 seconds (:S) I guess it's just like when you first try Fridrich. Your times will increase tremendously but then with time and practice, they'll eventually go down.
Thank you again, it's just nice to have a place where to ask.
*ALERT, RANDOM COMMENT* I wonder how satisfying it'd be to come up with a method yourself and then that method goes viral around the world and now everybody uses your method and yeah. Whatever.

it should work like that:
1. where are the next pieces to solve?
2. a) how can i solve them in an efficient way?
2. b) *think*...
3. solve it without doing ANY unnecessary moves.
dont go fast. try to minimize your movecount without focusing on time.

once you think that everything has improved you can try to eliminate the first and second step so that you dont have any pauses in your solves.

Experiment with F2L for as long as you can. Watch videos on youtube about neat F2L tricks. I also found it *somewhat* helpful when I see "walkthrough solves". That is, when the cuber tells us his/her thought process while doing a solve. I find it entertaining and kind of gears me up for what kind of mindset I should have during a solve when I watch those.

Also, what has been posted above is good advice.
In the end, it all comes with practice. Be patient.

I've seen some walkthrough solves by Badmephisto....but other than that I can't think of anyone else that has done any. Most of the people I'm subscribed to only seem to be doing reviews or averages of 5/12.

Could you maybe name a few?

when you are solving one f2l pair you need to be looking for another corner and edge pair and tracing them and like teller said use deduction if the four edges on the top have a yellow sticker on them and the front f2l pairs are done then the 2 remaining edges must be at the back. It is hard to do all this at speed but over time it becomes natural.
Maybe this video will help http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jfE7jYOXbgg
