I need reccomendations on what cube lube to get. I use silicone spray right now, but i am looking for something faster. Maybe I am lubing it wrong, or not enough, or too much. I dont know. Any tips on better lube/how to lube?

you must understand that different lubes suit different cubes. CRC and Jigaloo are very universal lubricants that suit a wide variaty of cubes but depending on how serious your cubing is and also what cubes you want to use you may want to invest in some shock oil/maru lube/lubix etc. If you feel you may be lubing it wrong then perhaps you are using too much lube and you are clogging up your cube with lube. Hope this helps

How do you lube it at the moment? Shock fluid is what I use, but mainly CRC/Jig A Loo are the more popular spray lubes, maru, shock oil, and Lubix are the popular liquid type lubes. Some people have used graphite, but I personally have never used it.

For CRC/Jig A Loo there are two main methods:
1) Pull out an edge piece, spray, pop piece back in, repeat with the edge opposite it (for example using the blue/red then the green/orange edges), work it in.

2) Fully disassemble, spray an even coat on all pieces (including the core), reassemble

For the liquid lubes just pull out an edge and squeeze a few drops in, work it in real well. Lubix says it's necessary to lube the core. Lubix(.com) has an instructional video on how to use their lube, and YouTube has plenty of videos as well.

The wiki is always a nice place to go as well, especially the Lubrication page.
