[Unofficial] Nakajima's updated 5x5 solve: 1:32.52

I officially hate Yu Nakajima........
I love how i practice till i injure my hands and get spasms and he practices for like what.... a week? and insantly beats my pb? yeah thats reaaaaaaally fair... w/e.....

Hi :-)

Who will be the first to beat my insanely lucky 65 secs time from yrs ago ?? I was cubing for hrs every day during late night sessions at uni :p
I predict that if the cubes are really as good as they look, and with a bit of luck, sub 60 single time is possible ...

Do you still have the scramble?

Nope, sorry. The scramble is long gone ... I recall only that the last centers stage was very very easy. The middle layers edges were also extremely fluent. Not missing any opportunity and no mistakes goes a long way ...

Sorry Per, but 65 seconds sounds insane. I really think that is not possible unless the scramble was performed badly (only double layer turns or something like that). I have never heard of anyone getting a sub 80 solve and I don't think a sub 75 solve will happen without a LOT of luck. Sub 60 seems to be impossible and would require something like 20 seconds for centers, 30 for edge-pairing and 10 for 3x3x3.

I realize you (probably) didn't use reduction, so please describe the method you used and the times you got for each step.

Haha, he just has better lookahead and turning speed than you. :p

In any case, I do wonder what Yu averages now.

You're not born equal to the next person. So suck it up and stop whining.

His 3x3 on that solve was sub 20, I think that's pretty good, lol.
