First of All, I am sorry to make another same thread....... an the other threads are closed so I make one......

This is my time breakdown for each step:
Cross~5 secs
F2L~20 secs
OLL~10 secs
PLL~5 secs

Which one I must improve? For F2L, I am practixing looking ahead by going slow and also the cross by doing cross BLD....

Thanks a lot.......

Hmm, i would say all of them really. Your cross could be around 3 with a little practice, your f2l could be around 15 with more practice, but your OLL should be less then your PLL really but if you use 2 look it should be about 5-6 at your speed. So an i deal breakdown to aim for would be 3, 15, 5, 4. That wouls give you a sub 30 average with ease.

Improve on your F2L and LL. Just keep practicing the F2L and you should be able to sub 20 for cross + F2L with more practice. Make sure you do not do redundant moves and reduce the move count. Continue practicing your lookahead and reduce the recognition time for OLL and PLL cases. Hope this helps :P

Ah, I see...... To improve Cross, do Cross BLD, to improve F2, do lookig ahead but how to improve LL? By looking ahead as usual? or learn more Algos? For PLL I haven't learn the G Perms.......

Thanks everyone.......

for the PLL's, i would recommend doing a PLL Time Attack- so you should learn your G's.

also, just take out a timer and practice all of your PLL's and most of them should be under- lets say 5 seconds...at the most, thats just to start with- then work on getting below 4's and then 3's, etc..

I think your cross is alright. Try to do it under 6 seconds on average consistently.

Your F2L could be better, aim for ~15 seconds on average. Just practice on it A LOT, turning smoothly with little pauses. (I actually got my new PB of 14.50 seconds today because I was turning slowly, and a PLL skip :p)

Your OLL is.... bad... the worst of them all (my opinion). Aim for 5 seconds on average. Improve your recognition and execution for each step by practicing the algorithms a lot. Orienting teh edges (making the cross) should take you 2 seconds and orienting the corners should take your 3 seconds.

Your PLL is okay (my entire PLL step, recognition + execution takes like 4.5 seconds, and I average liek 23 seconds :(), aim for under 5 seconds consistently. Learn the rest of your PLLs until later, because your PLL doesn't need much work (compared to your other steps).

Can I improve in 1 month? I want to compete at Singapore open this sept...... And I want to be at least sub-30 average and what do do you mean by practice? Spam moves?

Thanks evreyone........

Can you improve in 1 month? Depends on how much you practice and your dedication to the cube.

Spam Moves? For F2l i would recommend doing it over and over (and over if so you feel) again going slowly and looking ahead w/o pauses in between pairs. For your Algs in OLL/PLL i would recomend doing it again and again slowly...memorizing said alg...and improving with more practice. Do not learn too many algorithms in 1 day. I tried to learn more than i can handle one time and totally forgot about 3 of them. All in all...take it slowly and have fun doing it :)

Hmm...maybe learning more fingertricks and all the PLL's could help,...It took me around 5 days to learn all 21 PLL's(I have to revise all the Pll algs everytime I memorize a new one,so can prevent me from forgetting the previous algs)..and with fingertricks I learned a couple days ago..just started intuitive fridrich f2l+2 look oll + pll 5 days ago. 5 days ago my average for my old beginner method was around 57.xx sec, and today got my new average of 46.92. Thanks to the badmephisto intuitive f2l lessons on youtube and some fingertricks videos. Hmm, may I know how to register for Singapore open? I feel like joining it too, I am from malaysia.

Dude, I'm Malaysian too, and I'm feeling worse than you, because I'm in Singapore, but the competition's only open to Singapore citizens and PRs.

@Harry: Are you sure you're doing your blindfolded crosses right? 5 seconds seems very long for a fully planned cross, that's slightly more than 1 tps only. Try going faster on your cross but still maintain your lookahead.
