Hello guys, ive been wanting to make my own method, but thought maybe i never can.
Just a few weeks ago i made a new method called bridge (floating f2l,cross edge insertion, yellow cross, corner permutation, corner orientation,EPLL),this method is not very efficent its like a joke method like belt,so dont expect fast times.
This method uses 8 algorithms so its a low algorithm count.

Why is it called the bridge method?
Well, because when we do the first step, floating f2l,when its finished it looks like bridges around the first and second layer
Steps

•Floating F2L
to do this step,we do F2L without the cross by pairing the corners and edges then inserting them into their slot
•CEI(Cross Edge Insertion)
Then we use M and U moves to insert the the cross edges.
•Yellow Cross
We use either the 2-look OLL moves to make the cross or use the beginners method way(F (R U R' U') F')
•Corner Permutation(CP)
We now permute the corners using the niklas algorithm(note: soemtimes the 2 corners can be swapped either diagonally or vertically, while thhe other 2 are in the right place,to fix this use T perm for vertical swaps, and Y perm for diagonal swaps, yes i know its inefficent)
•Corner Orientation(CO)
We flip the cube over(Z2) then spam the sexy move until the corner is oriented, kind of like in the beginners method last step(yes i get it its inefficent, this is a joke method i made up).
•EPLL( Edge Permutation of the Last Layer)
Now when you flip the cube back(Z2) it will be a guranteed EPLL

Alright thats the Bridge method i invented, its a niche casual method ,not for speedsolving, just for fun.

Algorithms used:
•Yellow Cross•
Beginners:
• F ( R U R' U' ) F'
2-look OLL:
• F ( R U R' U' ) F' f (. R U R' U' ) f'
• f ( R U R' U') f'
• F ( R U R' U' ) F'
•Corner Permutation•
•Niklas: ( R U' L' U R' U' L' U ) (Algortihm may be different depending on what you use)
•Corner Orientation•
• Sexy Move: ( R U R' U' )
•EPLL•
Ua perm:
•R U' R U R U R U' R' U' R2
• Y' R2 U' S' U2 S U' R2
Ub perm:
• R2 U ( R U R' U' ) R' U' R' U R'
H perm:
• M2 U M2 U2 M2 U M2
• M2 U' M2 U2' M2 U' M2 ( I personally use this one)
Z perm
• M2 U' M2 U' M' U2 M2 U2 M' U2

Okay bye! Have fun trying this method and maybe even optimize it

By the way, this thread is also in member introductions since i posted on the wrong prefix😅👍

I find your method very interesting! It reminds me of Roux. I used cube explorer to come up with algs for the intuitive steps - here is a solve I just did with it.

 Setup
F' L' D B2 U F2 U2 R B F2 D2 L U2 F2 D2 B2 L2 F2 L' D2 R
 Moves
B2 D2 //1st pair
U F R' //2nd pair
U' F2 //3rd pair
R U R' M U M2 U2 r U R' //4th pair
S M' S' //solve centres
M' S U S M2 U2 M S2 //solve edges
r' R U R U R' U' M' R' F R F' //OLL
U l' U R' D2 R U' R' D2 (R l) U //PLL

U are inserting two opposite blocks at the same time, using algorithms. Very beautiful bro.
My way was on a bit logical side, i pair one block at a time, and insert.
I will keep it like this- u changed EAC into a speedsolving method 😍

Nice job keep it up 👍

Is applying this on big cubes possible?

Btw check EAC and EAC 2.0 for big cubes, u will get more idea.

It's really interesting i will try it on big cubes.

My youtube channel- https://youtube.com/@big_cubes_specialist?si=UW_VoEOJ9LsB9AFW

U can check EAC playlist

Oh nice try, but bro don't u think it's breaking EAC rules.

I dont know how to explain, like in 4 by 4 correct approach should be suppose.
One Blue and white edge and white and green edge will instert at the same time, like in 3 by 3 then other WB and WG edge.

Then remaining other two sides with same algo. Approach.

Another idea i have like- one WB/WG inserting then WR/WO inserting after that then last WG and WB then WR and WO.

I will try both approaches tomorrow by applying algos.
I dont know if u get my point.

I don't really know what EAC is tbh - I've just tried applying Adnylzz's approach

I will see your method later, sounds cool

Lol,in your solve you did full oll and pll while my method said to make the yellow cross, permute corners ,flip the chbe to spam the sexy move to orient the corners then EPLL,im fine with it tho
Nice, bro last layer u can use any method. Last layer in big cubes i use lots of complicated techniques in EAC 2.0

I am focusing on n-1 layers

Someone is going to say this so Ig its gonna be me

This thread below is for methods, it is preferred by most that threads are reserved for fully developed methods.

Nice looking method tho

i thought this was an introduction thread lol

It's another columns first method, there's loads of them scattered around the internet and none of them are very good. This variant where you're doing weird F2L->LL is also the most common as it doesn't require much creativity when you're coming from CFOP/LBL.

Cross first is almost always better than inserting cross afterwards, you don't gain that much freedom from leaving it unsolved. Roux works because it's blockbuilding into M/U TPS spam but there isn't such an elegant plan here

So your saying my method is bad?,i mean i think you forgot i mentioned that this is a inefficent fun joke method
