I was told to send an intro, so here goes.

I am a relatively new cuber, My name is - or my nickname is - Miko. I stared cubing at the beginning of the school year.

I use the CFOP method, but I am not very good, because my best time is 29.99 exactly, which isn't that great.
I plan to get much better at the CFOP method in general, but I mostly need advice on my f2l cuz I'm not very good at it, so please, any advice will be gladly taken. I joined because I wanted cubing advice and just to talk to other cubers.

My mains:
3x3x3 - Gan 11 m pro
megaminx, which I don't do that much - x-man galaxy megaminx v2 m (sculpted)

as for some other things I do with cubes, I do one handed, kind of, and I do megaminx

Other hobbies : I like to read ( I am currently reading Lord of the rings), I do cross country, I am into soccer, I play video games - like Minecraft, ROBLOX, Fortnite ( ask me for usernames and I might add you) and I'm decent at origami.

I am also a pretty fast typer, since I spent all of last year typing ALOT.

Advice is gladly taken.

Welcome to the SS forums!

Back when I was averaging 35/40 seconds, what helped me with F2L was knowing all the 41 basic F2L cases, which can be found here: https://speedcubedb.com/a/3x3/F2L
Very important tip: don't learn them as algorithms, you should understand what they're doing and how they're doing it. In fact, I would suggest instead to try to figure them out yourself before looking at that link. Use it only if you're not sure you are doing every case efficiently. (In addition, I would suggest to learn just one way to solve each case, even if it requires a cube rotation sometimes).
And try to insert pair in back slots to avoid double cube rotations.
If you already know all of this, then just work on recognition.

Welcome to the forums!

Glad you to hear you like reading!
I've got a whole bunch of suggestions for after you finish The Lord of The Rings.

Series Name: The Stormlight Archives
First Book: The Way of Kings
Author: Brandon Sanderson
There are currently four books in this series and a couple novellas. There are 10 planned books in this series so it is not yet finished. I have read the first three so far and have loved them. I plan to read the fourth when I can get my hands on it (hopefully for my birthday)
Warning: these books are massive, the first one is a few pages over 1000 pages and the books get longer with each release.

Series Name: The Mistborn Trilogy
First Book: Mistborn: The Final Empire
Author: Brandon Sanderson
I have read the whole trilogy and it is so good. There is a second era in this world where there are three currently released that happen 300 years after the first trilogy and a fourth on the way. This is quite a bit shorter than The Stormlight Archives.

Series Name: The Wheel of Time
First Book: The Eye of The World
Author(s): Robert Jordan wrote the first 11 books and then died in 2007, so Brandon Sanderson was chosen to finish the series with 3 more entries to make the series a total of 14 books. I have only read the first one, but I have the next two and plan to read them after I finish another book.

Series Name: A Song of Ice And Fire
First Book: A Game of Thrones
Author: George RR. Martin
This series has five books currently released and there are two more on the way. Be aware though that this series is VERY brutal and realistic, so if you aren't comfortable with multiple s#x scenes per book, then this series may not be for you. I have read the first two and am reading the third one currently.

I hope this wasn't too overwhelming, I saw that you were reading LOTR and was like yooo this guy seems cool, lemme recommend some more books.
