Hello everyone!

I’m a 14 year old cuber from Canada that started cubing when i was about 10. When I first started out cubing, i went through a few bad Amazon cubes when one of my classmates introduced me to cubing. I got my first real speedcube in December 2020 as either a Christmas gift or a birthday present.

My main cubes are:
3x3: JPerm RS3M 2020 (to be completely honest, i can’t be bothered with maaking my own settings)
2x2: Gan 251 M Pro
4x4: Moyu Aosu WR M

My main priorities and averages are:

3x3: I’m going to start learning COLL
Avg: Sub-20

2x2: I’m going to learn CLL or skip to EG
Avg: 5 seconds

4x4: Just get faster
Avg: Generally around 2 mins.

Now for more about my life. My favorite sports are soccer and badminton, but I like a lot of other sports like volleyball, squash, basketball, etc… I like to play video games, specifically Geometry Dash (I know it stupid but I like it, so whatever). I also like to make music. I use a software called FL Studio to make my music and I like to make EDM. I also play both Tenor and Alto Saxophone.

Wow that was long.

(Edit: i should have probably done this earlier but I forgor :) )

Welcome.
Just a kind suggestion, at your level of 3x3, you should focus on F2L Efficiency and Finger Tricks rather than advanced algorithm sets like COLL.

Welcome!

COLL isn’t that good of an alg set if you only care about speed, but it can be fun to use.

CLL is part of EG so start there.

Also if you want to go to the next level on Sax, learn circular breathing. It’s super helpful!

By the way how you you suggest I would practice F2L and what video(s) should I watch for finger tricks?

Welcome to the forums bling cat, may you coexist with us Ducks, most cats are lame but Fahmi is fast with Roux and you have the bling so we'll let you stay. CLL isn't that hard to learn, I learned it all in three days, it just depends on your motivation. Make sure to check out the SpeedSolving Google Chat group if you want to have some informal conversations!
