my cube is losening fast!

the more and more i use my cube the looser it gets, slowly but its still loosening.
what do you think is happening? and why?

and the peices are popping out more regularly!

You sir, have a cube disease called "Breaking-it-in-oliosis". It can be a good thing and can be used to your advantage, but your popping disorders has a negative impact on your times.

how can i use it to my advantage? the pieces are popping out as i am trying to solve it! well thats my fault but i'm still worried about the sides. for example my green side is much looser than my my blue side, why is this?

maybe your just turning it too HARD. just relax a little bit and turn it with less force. And the green side/blue side is because you just used your green side more than your blue. and to tighten your screws, you would need a DIY cube or something similar. to tighten it just pop off your centerpiece cap and tighten it.

If you have an Rubik's DIY cube you can adjust the tension of the screws by popping out the center caps...

if you use an Rubik's cube that has allready been build, then you can't tighten the cube, because it has pins in it not screws.

It sounds like you could have possibly broken the core...

a cracked/broken core might just explain it.

If you want a new rubiks cube I suggest a DIY cube from edsthinkshop.com They are a pretty ok deal if you live in the U.S. or you can buy from cube4you.com or 9spuzzles.com search for black diy cubes. Although you have to assemble/sticker it your self, it allows you to tighten and loosen to your liking.

i have the same with my old cube. the yellow side is more loose then the white. because i use white as the bottom color and my algs dont have alot of D turns. if you get a diy kit get also pvc stickers there are much better. i can recommend cube4you. the kits and all the other cubes are very good. you dont really need to look for a black cube so. right now i cube with a white cube and i like it a little bit better then the black. i also have a transparent one but i havent put stickers an him yet. like said before popping is not really uncommon. if your cube is looser you can cut corners and the friction between the cubies is not as big which makes you faster.

acctually i got the center piece cap off and tightened a screw and that fixed it! but i dont know how to get them off when i want to, i kinda discovered it by accendent.

how do you get them off?

I use a pin to pry it off (o.~).

get like a scalpel knife or similar and get it under the crack and pry it off.
