they don't really lie to their students, it's just that they don't teach very well because they use a VERY outdated educational system (At least where I and OP are from, which is the US)

Also, I want to make myself clear: I wasn't trying to say that the average was or was not legit. I was trying to say that, the information OP gave about the scrambles was correct. We should wait until OP goes to a few comps if we really want to be sure or not. However, the way that I worded it was poor and I said something else, so I apologise for that.

Also, just because I have a good official average does not mean that my opinion is more valid than someone else's. Everyone is welcome to their opinion, regardless of their speed. Using someone's speed as an attempt to discredit their opinion is nothing more than an ad-hominem attack, and only will offend others.

That's all I will say for now, as I don't want to get into an argument. I just wanted to make myself clear on a few things.
