Hey guys. Just wondering if this timer is worth buying. I can get it for only $20 AUD as apposed to paying over $40 for a speed stacks gen 4.

you can, i think its gen 3 (correct me if i'm wrong) the only problem is that when you slam your hands onto the pads, you might accidently press the reset button, so i reccomend to tape it or something so you don't make that mistake.

The Speedstacks gen 4 timer is the best timer, if you can't afford it I would suggest you get the YJ timer which is almost as good at a low price.

I agree that the gen4 is the best timer, but it is too pricey for beginners to get.

The Gen 4 is $10 cheaper on the cubicle. I highly reccomend it. However, if you cant afford it, the Qiyi timer is next best.

If you plan to stick with this timer for a long time, then buy since it does the same purpose as the Gen4. However, if you already want/plan to buy the Gen4, maybe wait until you can afford it so that you don't have to spend $60 on timers. In the meantime, using a keyboard also does the job, but it does give you a slight advantage over picking up/dropping the cube.
