I recently got the Moyu rs3m. After it arrived, I added DNM to make it faster.
The lube worked for a few minutes but then it suddenly slowed down a lot. I don't know what I did wrong. Help?

The cube will slow down after a few days when the lube spreads around. I would put in say 6 drops of DNM which should keep it lubricated for longer.

Did you add any other lubes to the cube? If there was something t else in there it may not have mixed well and caused the slowdown.

I’ve used DNM in all of my RS3M3020s with success

I've noticed this problem as well. At first, I added one drop of DNM and was amazed at the change. I sang its praises. Then, the cube slowed down after two days or so. I've decided to do an experiment. Today, I added three drops of DNM. I'll see how long it lasts, and when it slows back down, Ill add four. I'll continue the process until I find what lasts for a decent amount of time.

Ok thanks for advice. If nothing works I'll order lube from speedcubeshop.
You could do that, but I live in Canada too and for some reason speedcubeshop shipping costs more than shipping from the cubicle. Also, if you run out of lube ideas try lubing the core with Traxxas 30k and the pieces with Mystic and some more Traxxas. I used it for my RS3M and it’s like a combination of fast, smooth and just a little bit gummy (I don’t like my cubes too gummy). At the moment this setup for the RS3M is my backup main. So try it and if it doesn’t work out then go for speedcubeshop lube.

Apparently DNM can gum up in dry environments and needs some moisture in the air to work well. I stopped using it because it was so inconsistent. Try placing your cube on top of a glass of water for a bit and see if it speeds up again.

Really? I didn’t know that and I use DNM a lot.
