The cube has a nice and solid feel to it which I really like. It is stable and doesn't flex or shapeshift around. Corner cutting is line to line and doesn't lockup however if you try to do more than that then you might get a lockup.shapeshift. I have not experienced any pops and the outer layers are a bit wider than inner layers hence making the cube stable and I really enjoy doing the 3x3 stage.
Out of the box, the cube has this sandy feeling which dies down after you break it in. I have not experienced any/much lockups and the cube is really stable.
