I've been cubing for a couple of months now and combining a begginers method and f2l (which needs improving), have an average of around 50 seconds.

I want to move on from solving the LL with beginners method to something quicker but not sure if I handle learning all the algorithms for fridrich.

I currently orient the LL edges using..
F U R U' R' F'
F R U R' U' F'

Then permute the LL Edges with ..
R U R' U R U2 R'
R U2 R' U' R U' R'

Orient LL Corners with ..

R D R' D' R D R' D'
D R D' R' D R D' R'

The Permute LL Corners with ..

R2 B2 (R F R') B2 (R F' R)
(R' F R') B2 (R F' R') B2 R2

For me it seems that Orienting LL corners takes the most time though I have discovered a couple of cases which U R U' L' U R' U' L solves.

Anyone know a way I can simplify these steps?

2-Look OLL, 2-Look PLL.

They change the order of those steps and take away the chance of doing an algorithm more than once (except for orienting edges, and that step remains the same as you're already doing it).
