Mirror Blocks best "Beginner's Method"?

I got a mirror cube yesterday and I'm trying to decide on the most understandable method to teach someone new to it. So far, the easiest method to teach someone who already knows how to solve a 3x3 is (in my opinion) inserting corners and edges using the beginner's method then using OLL and PLL for the last layer. Personally I think F2L is too difficult for some who was just introduced to the mirror cube. It is difficult to find the edge that matches with your corner when the cube is so irregular and the cross is all that's done. What do you thinks the most understandable method?

I use EOCFOP with mirror cube. The EO inspection is awkward, but you get used to it. Once EO is done and the cross is thrown into place, which I always do on the longest side for easier look ahead and handling, I don't need to worry about edges going in wrong. That alone makes the mirror cube 100x times easier for me. For the LL, having all edges already oriented means you only need see the corner pattern, which is maybe the easiest part of the whole solve. I just use 2 look PLL (Jb or Y, then EPLL) to finish because the algs are easier to do than most PLLs on such an awkward cube, and the recognition is trivial.

Actually, I use the Petrus method for it. It's an awkward cube, so building a "block" out of the pieces you have seems more practical for me.
